Doug Schatz is a singer, songwriter, and visual artist  from Nashville TN. He writes original songs about his great adventures and terrible defeats. His songs embody the classic American themes of rejection, loneliness, booze, and the occasional mild triumph. He is a former geologist and current sculptor. His sculptures range from small scale bronze works to monumental steel constructions and firework performances.
